What's new for Mitsubishi in 2024?

Mitsubishi’s commitment to delivering reliable and capable vehicles is evident in the 2024 model year lineup. The brand’s flagship model will be the Outlander PHEV compact sport utility vehicle. It’s a winner of the AJAC Best Mid-Seize Vehicle in Canada Award for 2023. Several updates have been made across five vehicles, including the Mirage, RVR, and Eclipse Cross. Keep reading for specific improvements on each model.

2024 Mirage

As one of the smallest and least expensive cars in the Mitsubishi lineup, the Mirage hatchback sees a few changes. The trims will now be available in ES, NOIR, and GT trims with Continous Variable Transmission after the ES Manual trim and SE CVT were discontinued. With a starting price of $16,998, base models will now be equipped with14-inch alloy wheels,  Android Auto/Apple Carplay, heated front seats and cruise control

2024 Eclipse Cross

The 2024 Eclipse Cross only receives a few updates since its full revamp two years ago. All trims now comes standard with a AWD system. The mid-range model, SE-AWC, gets most of the changes, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, power tailgate with motion activation, and second-row USB ports. Its starting price is $28,998.

2024 RVR

The well-known RVR model carries over most of the features from the previous model year except for the SEL trim. This model adds a power folding door mirror as standard equipment. With a starting price of $24,598*, the RVR is available with front-wheel drive ES trim or all-wheel control for the ES, SE, SEL, and GT. The latter is the most extensive and tops the range with a starting price of $35,598*.

However, the significant change is the addition of the NOIR Editions based on the SEL trim. It’s available in Labrador Black and Titanium Grey with 18-inch wheels, black door mirrors, red interior stitching, and a gloss black grille.

2024 Outlander

With a starting price of $34,198*, the Outlander SUV will see a few changes to align with the PHEV models. The lineup drops the LE Premium trim, leaving the ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium trims. Features like the wireless charger and hands-free power liftgate are now available on standard lower trims. For the design options, the diamond body with bronze roof colour option has been replaced by a black diamond body with a sterling silver roof.

2024 Outlander PHEV

Starting at $48,198*, the Outlander PHEV is mainly unchanged after winning the AJAC Mid-Size SUV of the Year. The only changes include the addition of a smartphone wireless charger and a hands-free power liftgate with adjustable height on the LE and SEL trims.
